Matt & Annalisa ran the Scrumpy House in Much Marcle for 8 years, and purchased the Free Hold of the Crown Inn in September 2007. From the moment we heard that it was available, we knew it was the place for us!
It is our aim to continue to work with local farms and producers to get the very best that this special part of Herefordshire has to offer. The menu reflects the changing seasons and we will keep to the honest pub classics you see on the menu today, whilst also preparing some Scrumpy House classics.
All our food is freshly prepared on the premises and where possible we will always try to tweak a dish if there is something you would like prepared differently.
